Yurtiçi Kargo launches many firsts in Turkish Express Delivery Industry...

Adopting “As we promised” as its motto, Yurtiçi Kargo introduced a fast, quality, reliable and technological express delivery service in Turkey in 1982. The first Turkish company providing deliveries anywhere in the globe, Yurtiçi Kargo has become a member of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) in 1997. Yurtiçi Kargo, currently offers customer-oriented services in 81 provinces and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through 17 regional directorates, 33 transfer centers, more than 880 branches, more than 15.000 employees, and its fleet over 4000 vehicles.

Making an important breakthrough in the international transportation industry in 2003, Yurtiçi Kargo started to deliver its customers’ shipments to 230 locations around the world with its solution partner Geopost, one of the biggest express delivery companies of Europe.

Yurtiçi Kargo is the first express delivery company, obtaining TS EN ISO 9002 Quality System Certificate in 1999 and TS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality System Certificate in 2003, By receiving TS EN 9001:2008 Certificate from TSE and IQNet in 2010, Yurtiçi Kargo, demonstrated its determination to realize its mission to offer perfect service with high quality standards.

2004 Transition to modern business applications: Launch of ERP and performance management systems

2005 Completion of KOPS, an operational system that connects all Yurtiçi Kargo units on a real-time basis, selected as “Superbrand” in the sector by Superbrands Turkey, received this award again in 2007, 2010 and 2012 and 2014.

2006 Launch of packaging and payment delivery solutions

2007 Launch of notification through SMS system.“Yurtiçi Mobile” and “Air Cushion Package” services

2008 Launch of ”Preferred date” optional service

2009 Launch of online shipment management system offered to “Self-service” clients, ranked first among the brands that the customers were most satisfied with in the “Turkey Customer Satisfaction Index” (TMME) prepared by Turkish Quality Association (Kalder), repeated the same success in 2010 and 2011.

2010 TS EN ISO 9001:2008. Launched the capability to ship via iPhone and Facebook.

2011 Offered all shipment services online via the website, and iPhone and iPad branches, mobile Units activated, obtained TSE ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System certificate

2012 Launched Android Branch

2014: Became the only express delivery firm on the list of “Turkey’s Most Valuable Brands” by Brand Finance. Granted “Certificate of Authorisation” as service provider regulated by The Postal Services Law 6475 and related regulations which were legislated in May 23, 2013.
