NAME        DEFINITION
ARRIVAL SERVICE POINT
: The service point where the shipment, coming to the addressee, arrives
AUTHORIZATION DOCUMENT
: Document stating that the shipment can be delivered on behalf of the relevant person / organization.
BARCODE TAG
: Directive tag prepared in line with the data on the transportation invoice of the shipment and providing necessary direction by reading of the reference code by barcode readers.
CASH PAYMENT (P.O)
: Payment of shipment price the addresser.
CONFIRMATION LETTER
: The document given by the own consent of the sender whose delivery is made contingent on certain conditions by Yurtici Kargo Servisi A.S.
CONTRACTED CUSTOMER
: Customer that a mutual agreement is reached with on the scope and conditions of shipment transport service.
CONVEYOR
: Travelator used for loading shipments.
CUSTOMER
: Individual or organization requesting service to whom service is provided for.
DECI (VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT)  : Yurtici Kargo weighs and measure parcels. The highest value amongst the weight or the volume is taken in consideration. The volume measurement of any package, parcel or crate is calculated by multiplying 3 dimensions (width, length, height) with each other in cm and dividing the result by 3000. The transportation price is designated by the weight / volume of the package by the distance.
DELIVERY
: Material or belonging within a case such as document, folder, package, suitcase, bag and crate or in original that are sent by companies or individuals to each other for delivery within a certain and short period of time.
DELIVERY CODE
: 12-digit number on the invoice for the follow-up of the shipment that is invoiced, within the system.
DELIVERY NOTICE : Delivery Notice (Ihbar Notu) is left on the door to inform you about the arrival of your package. In this case, your parcel must be picked up from our service points either by you or a person authorized by you.
DELIVERY TO ADDRESS   Shipment service delivered to customer address.
DEPARTURE SERVICE POINT
: The service point where the shipment, sent by customer, is dispatched from.
DOCUMENT
: The name attributed to documents between 0-500 gr.
DOOR TO DOOR : Shipments picked up from the sender and sent directly to the receiver's address.
EXCLUSIVE SERVICES : Special services such as fairs, satellite branches etc.. designed according to the needs of the customers
INCOMING SHIPMENT : The shipment coming to the addressee.
INDEBTEDNESS : Bag where documents, folders, mi packages and their lists are included.
INVOICE COPY : Invoice copy on which signature and identity information are noted when the shipments are delivered to its addressee (Legal document certified by Finance Office)
MANIFEST BAG : Bag where documents, folders, mi packages and their lists are included.
MI PACKAGES : Packages between 500gr.- 3 kg., which are carried in manifest bag
ON - DUTY BRANCHES
: Service points that accept customers' urgent parcels by 20:00
OUTGOING SHIPMENT : Shipment sent by customer.
PARCEL POCKET : Transparent pocket used to place the invoice on the parcel.
PHONE NOTIFIED
: With this service receivers are notified by phone about their incoming parcels. After receiving the phone notification, either you in person or a person authorized by you, can pick up the parcel. Identity card must be shown by the receiver.
PICK UP FROM ADDRESS : Shipment service picked up from customer address.
PLASTIC SEAL : Seal on which serial numbers are available for providing safety of the shipments within the vehicle and on the manifest bags.
PRE- NOTIFIED : Shipment known to the addressee and picked from the service point without any need to make any notification to the addressee.
PROHIBITED GOODS : Prohibited parcels are the items, which are specified by the laws in order to prevent any damages to the other packages or any harm to the employees.
RING VEHICLE : Vehicle that delivers shipments to transfer center whose invoices are arranged during the day
ROUTE VEHICLE : Vehicle that carries shipments to the routes of dispatch.
SEAL : Numbered plastic lock made for the safety of vehicle and manifest bags.
SERVICE POINT : Unit for acceptance and delivery of shipment.
STATEMENT : Document arranged in order to identify any case of tearing, cracking, crushing or wetness on the packing of the shipment.
STATUS AUTHENTIATION : Document arranged before the customer for content authentication upon the request of the customer despite lack of any damage sign on the package.
TRANSFER CENTER : Location convenient for loading and unloading incoming/outgoing parcels, maintaining vehicles, performing maintenance and repair, entering-exiting and parking of vehicles.
TRANSPORT INVOICE : Invoice arranged for shipment at the service points.
TRANSPORTATION WAYBILL LIST
( T.T.I. )
  
: Legal document that shipment invoice numbers are recorded on.

UNDELIVERED SHIPMENT

: Shipments that cannot be delivered to its address on the day it reaches the arrival service point due to various reasons (the addressee does not pick up the phone notified shipment or absence of the addressee at the specified address, etc) and that must be picked by the addressee within maximum 6 days from the service points.

VEHICLE ROUTE TIMETABLE

: Form required to be maintained on the vehicle for recording time and distance of vehicle entries and exits in respect of kilometer at Transfer Center and Service Point/ Agency.
WARWHOUSE DELIVERY RECEIPT
(WAREHOUSE DELIVERY)
: Legal document certified by Finance Office arranged for shipments picked from customer address.

WORK AREAS

: Physical area with determined boundaries where each Service Point carries out its activities.
