Click here for list price.Pursuant to Law No. 6475 on Postal Services, it is mandatory that shipments classified as "postal parcels" be transported exclusively by licensed operators. This classification encompasses postal items containing goods, regardless of commercial value, weighing less than 5 kg or with a volume under 50 dm³, as well as consignments devoid of written correspondence weighing less than 30 kg or with a volume under 300 dm³.In accordance with statutory regulations, postal shipments are subject to a Universal Postal Service Contribution of 2.00% and an Administrative Fee of 0.35% calculated on net sales; Yurtiçi Kargo Servisi A.Ş. reflects these additional charges in its pricing. The shipment is weighed to calculate its weight in kilograms ("kg").The volume of the shipment is calculated in cubic decimeters (dm3).Volume (dm3) Formula: {Width (cm) x Length (cm) x Height (cm)} / 1000(Pursuant to Law No. 6475, it is mandatory to conduct volume measurements in dm3.)The shipment volume is divided by 5 and compared against the actual weight. The higher of these two values is applied as the "Chargeable Weight."The operations outlined above are performed individually for each package, and the resulting "Total Chargeable Weight" is used to select the corresponding row from the first column of the relevant service table. The zone code for the destination country is determined from the table for YK INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS and STANDARD services. The "Chargeable Weight" row is selected, and the applicable rate is determined from the Zone Code column. For shipments with a chargeable weight exceeding 30, the calculation is performed as follows;Procedure: The "30" row is selected from the Chargeable Weight column, and the rate is identified within the corresponding Zone Code column.Procedure: Subtract 30 from the determined chargeable weight, and multiply the remainder by the rate specified in the relevant "Zone Code" column corresponding to the "+ per" row.Procedure: The total service fee is determined by summing the charges derived from the first and second procedures. An amount equivalent to 2.35% of the final service fee is added to the invoice and charged separately as the "Postal Service Fee."A rounding methodology is employed for fee calculations based on chargeable weight. For fractional results, if the decimal remainder falls between 0 and 0.50 and the rate schedule includes half-unit increments, the value is set to "integer + 0.5"; otherwise, it is rounded up to the next whole number. If the remainder lies between 0.50 and 0.99, the value is rounded up to the next integer.(e.g., If Chargeable Weight = 2.45, then "2.5"; if Chargeable Weight = 2.75, then "3")
