Arrival Service Point

The service point where the shipment, sent to the receiver, arrives.

Authorization Document

Document stating that the shipment can be taken over on behalf of the relevant person / organization.

Barcode Tag

Directive tag prepared in line with the data on the transportation invoice of the shipment and providing necessary direction by reading of the reference code by barcode readers.

Cash Payment (P.Ö.)

Payment of shipment price by the sender.

Collect On Delivery (A.Ö.)

It is the payment of the shipment charges by the receiver.

Confirmation Letter

The document given by the own consent of the sender whose delivery is made contingent on certain conditions by Yurtici Kargo Servisi A.S.

Contracted Customer

Customer with whom a mutual agreement is reached about the scope and conditions of shipment transport service.

Conveyor

Moving belt used in carrying the shipments.

Customer

Individual or organization requesting service or to whom service is provided for.

Deci (Volumetric Weight)

It is the weight of any package, parcel or crate which is calculated by multiplying 3 dimensions (width, length, height) with each other in cm and dividing the result by 3000.

Delivery

Material or belonging within a case such as document, folder, package, suitcase, bag and crate or in original that are sent by companies or individuals to each other for delivery within a certain and short period of time

Delivery Code

12-digit number on the invoice for the follow-up of the shipment that is invoiced, within the system.

Delivery Notice (Post-it)

Delivery Notice left on the door to inform the receiver about the arrival of the package.

Delivery To Address

Shipment service in which the shipment is delivered to customer address.

Departure Service Point

The service point where the shipment, sent by customer, is dispatched from.

Document

The name attributed to documents between 0-500 gr.

Door To Door

Shipments picked up from the sender and sent to the receiver's address.

Exclusive Services

Special services such as fairs, satellite branches, delivery reporting etc.. designed according to the needs of the customers.

Hand Terminal

Hand Terminal: Electronic device which reads the barcode on the package monitors all of the data on the shipment.

Incoming Shipment

The shipment coming to the addressee.

Indebtness

It is the service of sending the mis-delivered shipment back to the Service Point/Agency where the receiver address is located.

Invoice Copy

Invoice copy on which signature and identity information are noted when the shipments are delivered to its addressee (Legal document certified by Finance Office).

Manifest Bag

Bag where documents, folders, mi packages and their lists are included.

Mi Packages

Packages less than 3 kg., which are carried in manifest bag

Outgoing Shipment

Shipment sent by the customer.

Parcel Pocket

Transparent pocket used to place the invoice on the parcel.

Pick Up From Address

Shipment service in which the shipment is picked up from customer address.

Phone Notified

With this service receivers are notified by phone about their incoming parcels and the receivers receive their cargo from the service point.

Plastic Seal

Seal on which serial numbers are available for providing safety of the shipments within the vehicle and on the manifest bags.

Pre Notified (H.B.)

Shipment known to the addressee and picked from the service point without any need to make any notification to the addressee.

Prohibited Goods

The goods which are prohibited by laws to be transported or the goods which would cause harm to the other packages, expose our employees and vehicle drivers to unwanted accidents.

Ring Vehicle

Vehicle that delivers shipments to transfer center whose invoices are arranged during the day without waiting for the closure.

Route Vehicle

Vehicle that carries shipments to the routes of dispatch.

Service Point

Unit for acceptance and delivery of shipment

Statement

Document arranged in order to identify any case of damage (tearing, cracking, crushing or wetness) on the packing of the shipment.

Status Authentication

Document arranged before the customer for content authentication upon the request of the customer despite lack of any damage sign on the package.

Transfer Center

Location convenient for loading and unloading incoming/outgoing parcels, maintaining vehicles, entering-exiting and parking of vehicles.

Transportation Invoice

Invoice arranged for shipment at the service points

Transportation Waybill List (T.T.İ)

Legal document on which the shipment invoice numbers are recorded.

Undelivered Cargo

Shipments that cannot be delivered to its address on the day it reaches the arrival service point due to various reasons (the addressee does not pick up the phone notified shipment or absence of the addressee at the specified address, etc) and that must be picked by the addressee within maximum 3 days from the Branch.

Vehicle Route Timetable

Form required to be maintained on the vehicle for recording time and distance of vehicle entries and exits in respect of kilometer at Transfer Center and Service Point/ Agency.
