Yurtiçi Kargo, an innovative company in the cargo industry, takes a new eco-friendly step. Yurtiçi Kargo will begin using its stylish new electric vehicles to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and achieve higher service level in its pick-up and delivery services.
The company has adopted an eco-friendly approach to delivery services and intends to reduce carbon emissions by using electric vehicles to optimize in-city operations. The electric vehicles are expected to prevent delivery delays due to traffic jams, especially in big cities.
Operations Assistant General Manager of Yurtiçi Kargo, Fatih Önyol, announced that the “Electric Vehicle Project” test phase has concluded and the vehicles will be used in units starting in July. Mr. Önyol added that the vehicles will be used in large complexes such as technology parks, universities and city hospitals and in locations with delivery problems, traffic jams and lack of parking spaces. The project will start with 200 vehicles, in addition to the vehicles that went through the test phase.
Launching the “Electric Vehicle Project,” Yurtiçi Kargo protects the environment and continues to serve its clients in line with the slogan “As Promised” by offering them high-quality delivery services.
